Birthday Parties
Share your birthday with otters, diving ducks and piranhas – how cool is that! The Lakes Aquarium offers a unique venue for a birthday party.
Birthday parties at the Lakes Aquarium are now available ALL YEAR!
Our package includes:
- A tour of the Aquarium with your very own party leader.
- A birthday party tea with all the party paraphernalia to make the day extra special. Choose from a traditional menu or a hot dog option. The tea is served in Oscar's, or in the Lake Room (depending on availability) adjacent to the Aquarium.
- Party bags – a range of fantastic goodies including a pencil, pen, eraser, notebook and a chocolate fish!
- Photocard – a Polaroid of the party group as a special reminder of the perfect party.
- VIP party invitations.

Booking and information:
- Maximum 10 children per party.
- Parties arrive at either 10am or 2pm. Please allow 2 hours for the party including the tour and party tea. (NB: Birthday parties during school holidays are only available at 10am).
- All parties must be accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults.
- Final numbers are required 24 hours in advance (for which you will be charged).
- You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake which we will happily display and cut if required.
