Here are a few frequently asked questions which may help you plan your visit and decide which ticket option suits your visit:
1. What types of combined tickets are available?
A. Combined tickets are available for adult, child (aged 5 - 15 years) and family (2 adults and up to 3 children) in the following packages:
Aquarium + return Haverthwaite - Lakeside train trip (or vice versa)
Aquarium + return cruise to Bowness - half length of the lake
Aquarium + return cruise to Waterhead (Ambleside) - full length of the lake
Aquarium + return train & return cruise to Bowness. NB Not available to purchase on-line.
2. How much do I save?
A. Savings vary on each ticket type but on average you can expect to save over £2.40 per ticket (from the individual priced tickets). Savings are detailed in the pricing tables above.
3. Where can I buy the tickets from?
A. You can buy all combined ticket options from Lakes Aquarium reception on the day of travel. You can also buy combined Aquarium + train from the ticket office at Haverthwaite Station. You can buy Aquarium + cruise from any of the three pier ticket offices - Lakeside - Bowness or Waterhead (Ambleside).
4. Can I buy the tickets on-line?
A. Combined Aquarium + cruise tickets are available from www.windermere-lakecruises.co.uk. Combined Aquarium + train are available from this website.
