NOW OPEN our brand new shopping and eating experience 1872. Located alongside the station and pier it's the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat and choose some special gifts and treats!
1872 and Oscar's Restaurant NOW 'Proudly Brewing Starbucks!'
Here's a sample of what's on offer:
- Caramel Macchiato - A Starbucks original. Foamed milk marked with espresso and vanilla, then topped with a distinctive caramel pattern. Sweet, buttery and intense.
- Caffè Mocha - Delicious Starbucks mocha chocolate, espresso, steamed milk and whipped cream. No cold or sad day can resist its power.
- Cappuccino - Light and foamy, a real classic, An intense shot of espresso, steamed milk and half a cup of foam. Ask for an extra shot for a more intense taste.
- Caffè Americano - Despite the name, this is actually a European way to enjoy coffee: espresso with hot water.
As well as a delicious selection of speciality teas, including Zen, wild sweet orange tea and passion tea.
Oscar's
Make time to relax in Oscar's while enjoying the stunning 
panoramic views across Windermere. Situated on the upper
floor of the station building, Oscar's offers both traditional and contemporary food including mouthwatering daily specials, homemade cakes, delicious coffees and refreshing cold drinks. High chairs are available as are facilities for warming baby food and milk. Baby changing is available in the Aquarium.
The Lake Room
Just next door to Oscar's is our all new function room - The Lake Room. Available all year round for groups, birthday parties and school parties to use for eating, for having fun with our school resource packs or whatever you have in mind! We even have a projector available if you want to book the room for your own slide & snacks or films.
